BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The Northshore School District Board of Directors is governed by The Policy Governance model of board leadership, containing four sets of policies: Goals, Superintendent Parameters, Governance Process, and Board/Superintendent Relations.

At today's meeting the Board will review Superintendent Parameter 8 - Instructional Programs. Superintendent Parameter policies "spell out the limits placed on executive authority." These policies are monitored annually through the evaluation of reports submitted through the Superintendent.
